If you haven’t played before our members can fill you in on the rules, regulations and requirements of the Club NZ darts rules.

Play is generally 501 with a Double to start and double finish, depending on numbers.

It is also a great way to improve your maths skills as scoring for games is required when playing, Don’t be afraid as our members are happy to help out.

How to Score on a Dart Board

When playing a game of 501 Double to start, this means you have to score a dart into the outer most ring in order to start scoring (double score ring) once you hit it then you start counting down from 501 until you reach a score where you can finish on a double for instance if you have 40 remaining,

then you would have to throw at the outer ring of the 20 to win the game.

If you get a 20, then you will have to hit the double ring on the 10 and so on until you either finish or lose the game.
